Belgium~September
2001
I was lucky enough to travel to Europe in September of 2001with Ed Frawley
and Kevin Sheldahl for the KNPV Championships in Holland and the Cat.2
Belgian Ring Championships in Belgium.
I visited several dog training clubs throughout Europe (KNPV, Ringsport
and Schutzhund). I had wanted a Malinois since the 80's and was thrilled
to be able to see so many dogs and learn about bloodlines (well, START
to learn anyway!)
Here are a few pictures from my visit to Joefarm in Belgium....I decided
that day that my Mal would come from that kennel (if and when I ever
got one). I saw Elgos and many of the Joefarm breeding stock and saw
many young dogs worked as Kevin was looking for PSD prospects.
The common denominator (in my opinion) of the dogs I saw that day was
unbeatable GRIP and stable temperament. A few months later I aquired Aera
van Joefarm,
a beautiful female from Elgos's last breeding before he passed away.

There were several people training when
I was there. I did not write down their names, if anyone knows who they
are please let me know!
