Our
'Lonesome Dove' litter
hit the ground on April 16th and are all in their
new homes now. The combination of Aera van Joefarm
and Ulani van Joefarm SchH 3, DPO 2,WPO (so far)
has been exactly what we were hoping for.
Aera is a daughter of the famous Elgos du Chemin
des Plaines and Thora van
Joefarm. .
Aera is a beautiful, dark and athletic female.
She is environmentally stable, extremely quick to
learn and has obsessive
toy and food drive. She is a naturally full gripper
and does have an edge
of sharpness. She is good with kids, small dogs
and cats and lives in the
house.
Aera's
pedigree brings a proven combination of stable temperament,
big
grips, exceptional drive and versatility. Many of
the dogs out of the
combination of Elgos/Thora (goes back to Boscaille
lines) are working dogs
in many different disciplines. Law enforcement, Schutzhund,
Ring and KNPV
are a few examples.
Ulani
is a son of Nelton des Deux Pottois, who is an extreme
dog with many
working progeny. Ulani (whose call name is Nitro)
was a working Police
Service Dog in the Cincinnati Ohio area. Nitro and
his handler have
had numerous successful tracks and apprehensions
in their
time together on the street. Nitro is also Brett's
Schutzhund dog and
obtained his Schutzhund 3 title in the fall of 2002
at the Regional
Championships in Ohio. Nitro has extreme drive for
anything you want him to
do, athletic ability, and is a natural full gripper
with exceptional power. All
of this is evident when you watch this dog work!!
Brett and Nitro also
competed in the DPO (Police Dog Championship) Championships
in Boston MA in
2001 and Gadsden, AL in 2002 and were selected for
the 2002 IDM team to compete in Europe.Look for them
in Reno in 2003!!
These
puppies have dark pigment, exceptional drives,
intelligence ,trainability, genetically full grips
and a level of self
confidence that should make them suitable for working/performance
homes.
